Practical Driver Training for Individuals & Businesses

We have a range of training services designed to support both individual drivers and businesses with practical, flexible solutions. 

Whether you need an assessment drive, bespoke training for your operation, compliance and tachograph training, or specialist manoeuvring and shunter tuition, our experienced instructors will tailor each session to your exact requirements. Training That Fits the Real World

1hr Assessment Drive – Cat C1, C or CE

If you have provisional entitlement added then you can choose to book a 1 hr driving assessment before committing to a full course. This allows the instructor to assess your current proficiency and identify the skills that require improvement in order to reach test standard. A recommendation of course duration and a detailed report is provided.

Bespoke Training

Need something  more specific? We can create a training plan to suit your business needs.

Qualified Driver Training, Remedial / Post accident training, B+E trailer training, Tachograph/Infringement Support, train the trainer, new driver induction and so on.

Daily Hire of NRI / VTCT Registered Instructor/Assessor

  • Our Instructor can train your staff in LGV Trainers or your own fleet vehicles (dependent of suitability)
  • Half & full days (Days/Nights/Weekends)
  • Solo and multiple trainees. (Assessing – Max 6 trainees per day)

Digital Tachograph/Drivers

Training is delivered on an individual basis, in our own training facility and includes:

  • The Digital Tachograph Card (using Siemens simulator)
  • Drivers Hours (including Domestic where relevant)
  • Working Time Directive (WTD)
  • Covering points of law, exemptions, responsibilities, driver records, WTD rules
  • Informing you of current legislation
  • Typical duration of training 90 minutes +

Qualified Driver Assessment (QDA)

Annual assessments of your qualified drivers

  • Health & safety awareness

Reversing & Manouvering Training

Specialised training dealing with manouvering and reversing in a working environment. For both experienced and novice/newly qualified drivers.

  • All training takes place at our dedicated off road site
  • Actual working site
  • Available for ALL categories of vehicle from Van to full LGV
  • We have the available space to layout mock situations to assist in refreshing or developing your skills
  • Typical duration of training – 4 hours

Onsite Shunter Training

Off road based training for companies wishing to offer corrective, refresher or novice tuition to employees.

  • Onsite training or at our dedicated off-road area (price based on using LGV trainers vehicle)
  • We can accommodate training using specific Shunt vehicles also, please call to discuss cost
  • Maximum of 2 trainees per day
  • Refresher training available
  • A certificated course
  • Typical duration of course on solo basis – 4 to 8 hours
